IC Catalogue
The Index Catalogue of Nebulae and Clusters of Stars (IC) is a two-part astronomical catalog published in 1895 and 1908 by John Dreyer, serving as a supplement to the New General Catalogue (NGC). It lists 5,386 deep-sky objects—galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters—discovered between 1888 and 1907, largely aided by photography.
